O setor metal mecânico detém grande importância no cenário industrial alagoano pela relação direta que estabelece com a agroindústria açucareira-alcooleira. Essa relação representa vulnerabilidade ao segmento, necessitando se reestruturar e estabelecer estratégias competitivas.
